TXB Energy
The Business of Engineering™
INNOVATION • STRATEGY • DESIGN • EXECUTION
Where engineering rigor and executive strategy converge.
TXB Energy is not a typical energy consultancy. We are engineers who have run companies. Executives who can read a mass balance. Strategy advisors who have built real projects — with real CAPEX, real offtake contracts, and real investors standing behind them.
We exist for the Clients who need both — simultaneously. Waste-to-energy development. Circular Economy transition. Technical due diligence. Engineering-intensive business strategy. From concept through capital raise, we deliver the full spectrum — under one roof, with one integrated team.
We specialize in Waste-to-Energy and the Circular Economy. As a result, we are experts in the single enabling technology for waste to value - pyrolysis! We have evaluated over 140 pyrolysis companies around the world - we know what works and what is marketing hyperbole.

TXB Vision and Mission
TXB Energy Vision
WE ENVISION A WORLD WHERE "WASTE" IS AN OBSOLETE CONCEPT. By mirroring the efficiency of natural ecosystems, we see a future where every byproduct is a resource and every process is circular. For TXB Energy, managing the world’s waste isn't just a global necessity—it is the convergence of the greatest encironmental challenge AND the greatest commercial opportunity of our time.
TXB Energy Mission
TXB MISSION IS TO ENGINEER THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY. We bridge the gap between technical complexity and commercial viability to design and deploy scalable solutions that transform global waste streams into high-value energy and products.
Two Disciplines. One Firm.
Most consultants bring one side of the equation — and that's precisely where projects stall, investors disengage, and capital is left on the table.
ENGINEERING FIRMS ALONE
Can validate a process flow — but struggle to build a financial model an investor will trust, talk to a Board of Investors, structure an SPV, or position a project for capital markets. Technical rigor without commercial translation rarely closes a deal.
STRATEGY ADVISORS ALONE
Can run a due diligence process — but often can't evaluate whether pyrolysis yields are credible, whether CAPEX is realistic, or whether the technology has ever been proven at scale. Commercial fluency without engineering depth is equally insufficient.
TXB ENERGY WAS BUILT TO CLOSE THE GAP. Our managing partner has served as CEO of five companies, architected a billion-dollar IPO, and spent a career turning complex strategic situations into outcomes for engineering and technology-intensive organizations. Our principal engineer has 15 years designing, costing, and building waste-to-energy plants across pyrolysis, gasification, anaerobic digestion, green hydrogen, and CO₂ utilization — from mass balance through techno-economics. We work together on every engagement. That integration is the product.
Supporting our Principals are a cadre of professionals with core competencies in all aspects of engineering. We don't use what "who we have on the bench", we find what is needed and put the right professional in the right place.
What This Means for Our Clients
TXB's integrated model delivers something the market rarely offers: a single team that speaks fluently in both the engineering room and the boardroom.
Investors & Developers
You get a feasibility study that is also investment-ready. The financial model, the technical validation, and the narrative for capital all come from the same team — coherent, credible, and defensible under scrutiny.
Industrial Companies
You get strategy advice from people who understand your technology, your process economics, and your competitive landscape from first principles — not from a generic consulting framework assembled from secondary research.
Project Developers
You get engineering support backed by executive-grade project structuring: SPV formation, offtake strategy, pre-development capital, and investor documentation ready for qualified capital conversations.
Waste Producers
You receive viable business and engineering solutions to transitioning your company from a waste producer to a energy/product value creator - with the associated Revenue that accompanies that transition.

Technology Pathways
Technology-Fluent. Pathway-Flexible.
We evaluate technology — rigorously, independently, and with the engineering depth to know the difference between a proven commercial process and a compelling slide deck.
"Technology is only as good as the success it creates" ~ Don Turner, Managing Principal
TXB has active project experience across multiple distinct waste-to-energy and advanced recycling pathways. That breadth gives us a comparative perspective that single-technology advisors simply cannot offer. When we recommend a pathway, it is because the technical and economic fundamentals support it — and we have selected a vendor we know will work
Pyrolysis = the Future of the Green Economy
We are adept at a variety of waste-to-value pathways - with a strong waste-to-value pyrolysis focus.
Our Technology Pathways
These are examples of the waste-to-value pathways we have been engaged
Plastics → Pyrolysis Oil (PPO)
The most commercially active advanced recycling pathway. Deep TXB experience in feedstock blending, yield modeling, ISCC PLUS certification, and Circular Plastic is becoming the "law of the land" around the world. Waste Plastic to New Plastic is not an option - it is a necessary opportunity
MSW → Fuels (SAF / Diesel / PPO)
Municipal solid waste to sustainable aviation fuel, diesel, and pyrolysis oil via pyrolysis and gasification. Active project structuresusing Technotherm pyrolysis technology — serving both carbon compliance and fuel market demand.
ELT → Diesel + Recovered Carbon Black
End-of-life tire pyrolysis offers consistent feedstock quality, strong gate-fee economics, and recovered carbon black (rCB) as a high-value second revenue stream.
Biomass → Green Hydrogen
Biomass gasification with downstream hydrogen purification. TXB's engineering principal has direct project experience in biomass-to-H₂ techno-economics, equipment vendor coordination, and plant design from pre-FEED through specification.
CO₂ → E-Fuels (Green Methanol / Synthetic Diesel)
Emerging pathway. TXB is currently engaging on a CO₂-to-e-fuels consulting assignment
Waste-to-Power
For remote communities where landfill diversion and energy independence intersect. TXB scoped a 5-7 MW configuration for remote community with no access to energy transmission

Why TXB Energy
Four Reasons Our Clients Choose Us — and Stay With Us
In a market crowded with advisors who know one side of the equation, TXB Energy offers something structurally different: an integrated team that brings engineering depth and executive credibility to every engagement, every time.
Each of these four differentiators is embedded in how TXB is structured — not claimed as a marketing position, but demonstrated through the work we take on and the projects we co-develop alongside our clients.
We Develop, Not Just Advise.
TXB principals are passionate about what we do. We structure and co-develop the same types of projects we advise on — meaning when we validate a CAPEX figure or recommend a technology pathway, we are applying the same standard we hold ourselves to as project developers.
This is not a marketing distinction. It changes the quality of the analysis. When your advisor has committed capital and reputation to projects structured exactly like yours, the scrutiny is different. The risk identification is sharper. The financial modeling is more conservative. The technology assessment is more rigorous. We are not optimizing for a clean deliverable — we are accountable for the outcome.
